What Does the FiveM Resource Do?

The ProtonCAD FiveM resource is a Lua script that runs on your FiveM server and bridges your game server with the ProtonCAD web platform. Once installed, it enables:

  • In-game CAD tablet — press F12 to open a windowed view of your community's live CAD/MDT site directly in-game, without alt-tabbing
  • Live map — player positions broadcast to the CAD live map in real time
  • In-game 911 calls — any player can type /911 [description] to send a call with auto-detected street location straight to the dispatch board
  • Plate scanning — with the Wraith ARS 2X radar resource installed, every plate your radar reads is automatically looked up against your community's vehicle records
  • Jail enforcement — booking a citizen via the MDT teleports the linked player to jail in-game with a countdown HUD and escape detection
  • Panic button — on-duty LEO/EMS units trigger an in-game alert to every other on-duty unit
  • F11 menu — a menu that fits who you are: civilians call 911, show ID and manage their car; police cuff, cite from the law book and run a scene; Fire/EMS revive and treat; admins tune the server
  • Death and revive, cuffing, scene tools — built in from version 4.0.0, no other scripts needed (and each can be switched off)
  • Account linking — players link (and unlink) their FiveM identity to their CAD account with a one-time code

Requirements

  • A FiveM server with resource folder access
  • ox_lib, NativeUILua (installed as a resource named NativeUI), and wk_wars2x (the Wraith ARS 2X radar resource) — all three must be installed and started before proton-cad, see Installation
  • A ProtonCAD community on the Pro or Lifetime plan
  • A server API key generated in Admin → Servers
