Overview

The panic button lets LEO and EMS units send an immediate distress signal to every other on-duty unit. It is designed for officer-down or emergency situations.

Triggering a Panic

Press F10 (or type /panic) while on duty. The alert reaches dispatch and every terminal at once with the street and area you were on (and your postal if postals are on), and every on-duty unit in game gets a banner with the distance and direction plus a waypoint to you.

Requirements

  • Config.PanicEnabled = true (default)
  • You must be on duty: go on duty from the in-game tablet (F12) first

Options

  • Config.PanicAutoWaypoint = false stops the automatic waypoint.
  • Config.PanicEnabled = false turns the panic button off entirely.
